The Presidential Election and the Internet - How will it impact us?
I have always loved politics but this one is quite a race! I have become addicted to the latest news reels on the candidates speeches and various stations commentator rhetoric. The stage is set for a real battle, an election that will make history. It is really fun to watch the charismatic Senator Obama against the cunning and salt of the earth Senator McCain. McCain grabbed my heart back when he added Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin, she is so spunky and is firm in her beliefs. I admire that character a leader. (OK, yes I am a from Lincoln’s Party) I felt at the start of this election process over eighteen months ago, that a woman would be on the ticket. I wanted McCain to pick Dr. Condoleezza Rice and Senator and former First Lady Hillary Clinton to pick Obama but that prediction feel flat. With all of this excitement and convention festivities, I began thinking about what impact each candidate will have on the Internet I just started to research this but found a terrific Government site called Thomas. Thomas contains legislative information by the Library of Congress in the spirit of Thomas Jefferson. It is a bit annoying when you look at how little congress is doing but they are on break.
